Your email (that’s the whole sign-in), an optional name, your watchlist, and usage of the site — pages viewed, searches, and clicks, tied to a short-lived session. Payment details for paid plans are handled by our payment processor; we never see card numbers.
To run the product: sign-in links, your watchlist and its digest emails, and improving the site by understanding what gets used. We measure demand in aggregate — which names people research — and publish only aggregates, never your identity.
PrivateMarketView is under common ownership with Premier Alternatives, a licensed secondary broker. Your account data, watchlist, and activity on PrivateMarketView are never shared with Premier Alternatives or any other party for marketing or solicitation. Watching a company subscribes you to PrivateMarketView’s own alerts and nothing else.
Service providers that run the product under contract — hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), email (SendGrid, Google Workspace), payments (our billing processor) — receive only what their function requires. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
A sign-in cookie for your session, a short-lived analytics session cookie, and nothing else. No third-party advertising or cross-site trackers.
Account data lives as long as your account does; ask and we’ll delete it. Analytics is retained in session-level form for product measurement. For any request — access, correction, deletion — hello@privatemarketview.com. Material changes to this policy are announced on this page and by email to account holders.
